Shirley Huffman, age 72 of Breckenridge, passed away Wednesday, June 22. Graveside services were held at 5 p.m., Friday, June 24, at Hart Cemetery with Rev. Don Bearden officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Morehart Mortuary.
Shirley Mae Hensley was born May 30, 1944, to parents, Clarence Eugene Hensley and Mildred Maglene Moore Hensley in Weenatchee, Washington. On January 21, 1995, Shirley married Sam R. Huffman in Breckenridge. She was a cook her whole life, working for Jack’s, L&L, Ernie’s Spanish Kitchen and Pam’s Café.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Mildred Hensley.
Shirley is survived by her three children, Donna Mae Walker, James Thomas Davis, and Randy Roe Davis; six step-children, Sherry Gwen Davis, Jerry Dale Davis, Ben Davis, Vicky Fisher, Sam Huffman, and Beverly Fisher; four grandchildren, Katelyn Davis, Alex Martin, Kasey Walker, and Faith Walker; one brother, John Roy Hensley; and one sister, Lucy Tilley.
