Carolyn Sue Perkins, 67, went to be with our Lord Friday, July 22, in Decatur, Texas.
A funeral service was Tuesday, July 26, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Alvord, Texas. Family received friends Monday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Pallbearers include Paul Perkins, Steve Perkins, Jeff Bennett, Jimmy Hachtel, Kyle Thompson, Luke Bennett, Kaleb White, Cole Peace, and Brent Jones.
Carolyn was born June 17, 1949, to Alfred and Edna Waggoner Jensen in Breckenridge. She was united in marriage to Sherry Perkins on October 17, 1980, in Decatur, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 35 years, Sherry (S.R.) Perkins of Decatur; her daughters, Shannon Hachtel and husband Jimmy of Bowie, and Monica Bennett and husband Jeff of Runaway Bay; her sons, Steve Perkins and wife Laurie of Decatur, and Paul Perkins and wife Julie of Decatur; her grandchildren, Chelsie, Brandi, Luke, Mashae, Cole, Amber, and Stevie; her great-grandson, Layton; her brother, Jerry Jensen of Breckenridge; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
