Cathy Franklin, 76, went to be with her savior Thursday, June 16. Funeral services with Larry Pratt officiating will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 20, in the Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Interment will followed in Eliasville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 7 p.m. on Sunday. Arrangements are under the direction of Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home.
Catherine Marie McGinnis was born on September 14, 1939, in Fluterville, Ohio, to Keith and Cora McGinnis. She had owned Cathy’s Hill Top Café in Eliasville and attended the Eliasville Church of Christ.
Survivors include her daughters, Tammy Deavers and husband, Darron of Denton; and Tina Ramsaier and husband, Cecil of Breckenridge; sons, Kem Franklin and wife, Bri of Denton; and Tim Franklin of Eliasville; grandchildren, Steyli, Shane, Shawn, Robin, Aiden, Chad, Justin Franklin, Walker Ramsaier, and Kristina Waddell and spouse, Nathan.
